As cost-of-living pressures continue to affect individuals, families and volunteers across Victoria, CISVic is supporting member agencies to promote Servo Saver — a practical tool designed to help people manage fuel costs more effectively.
Servo Saver is a State Government initiative available through the Service Victoria app, allowing users to view standard fuel prices at service stations and better plan when and where to buy fuel. By making fuel pricing more transparent and predictable, the tool aims to help people save money on an essential everyday expense.
CISVic has worked with members to share information and resources that support community members to access and use Servo Saver, particularly those who may need assistance navigating digital tools or government services.
For people already under financial strain, even small savings on fuel can make a meaningful difference. Reduced transport costs can also support ongoing participation in volunteering, employment, education and access to essential services.
Member agencies are encouraged to support clients and community members to:
- Access Servo Saver through the Service Victoria app, and
- Understand how to use the tool to compare fuel prices in their local area.
