Community Information & Support Victoria (CISVic) is the peak body for the community information and support sector in Victoria.

The sector is made up of local organisations that provide information, referral, and practical support to people experiencing hardship, helping them navigate services and access the assistance they need.

For more than 55 years, these services have been a first point of contact for people seeking help, offering trusted, place-based support in communities across Victoria. CISVic represents and strengthens this network, ensuring it can respond to changing needs and continue to support people effectively.

As a peak body, we advocate for fairer systems, work with government and partners to influence policy, and support our members to build capability and deliver effective services.
