How you can help
There are many ways to support stronger, more connected communities across Victoria.
The community information and support sector is made up of people and organisations working together to ensure no one faces hardship alone. Whether you have time, skills, or resources to share, you can play a role in supporting this work.
You can:
- Support advocacy efforts
- Join CISVic as a member
- Volunteer your time
- Partner with us
- Make a donation
Each of these contributes to stronger local services and better outcomes for communities across Victoria.
Volunteering
Volunteering is a meaningful way to support your community and make a difference in people’s lives.
Our member organisations offer a range of volunteer opportunities across Victoria, where you can contribute your time, skills, and experience to support people in need.
Student Placements
Student placements offer an opportunity to gain practical experience while contributing to your community.
Through partnerships with institutions such as RMIT and opportunities across our member organisations, placements support students to build skills and learn in real-world community settings.
